Coronavirus Pandemic or COVID-19 has taken the world by storm. Presently, it has infected about 8.5 lakhs of people and has claimed nearly 42,000 lives worldwide. As a result, the world has entered a state of chaos, where nobody anymore knows what should be done. People are in a state of panic and they just want to stay safe. But the question now is, if there is any way to stay out of the harm away? If so, then what are those corona tips that should be followed?

Now, if these are the questions that are haunting your days as well, then read further and follow the provided corona tips and home therapy guidelines to stay safe from COVID-19 at home, outdoor or in surrounding areas.

Social distancing

WHO has recommended social distancing as a key factor in the fight against coronavirus. The people are required to stay at least 3 feet apart from anyone who is coughing or sneezing, at all times whether they are at home, at work, or in surrounding areas. This will be easier to practice if you stay at home. Hence, stay put at your house and follow the home therapy.

Wash your hands

According to the guidelines by World Health Organization, people are requested to wash their hands with soap and water or sanitize them with an alcohol-based rub (should contain 60% alcohol) every time they cough or sneeze, or come in contact with surfaces outside of their home. Remember, hands should be washed for at least 20-30 seconds.

Follow good respiratory hygiene

Even if you believe you have a normal cough or cold, you should follow good respiratory hygiene. For this, make sure to cover your mouth and nose with your arm or a tissue when you cough or sneeze. This is because of many viruses like cough, cold and COVID-19 spread through droplets. So, practicing caution will keep other people safe if you are at work.

Don’t shake hands

If you shake hands with someone who is suffering from COVID-19, the virus from his hands can travel into yours. Later, whenever you will touch your face, the virus from your hands can enter into your respiratory system. Hence, you must avoid shaking hands for some days. Instead, practice Namaste as a form of greeting whether you meet someone at home or work.

Avoid travel

Coronavirus or COVID-19 spreads through droplets. These droplets can enter your respiratory system when an infected person sneezes or coughs around you, or when you come in contact with a surface that was touched by a COVID-19 patient. Hence, when you travel, you put yourself at a major risk. So, avoid traveling and stay at home, if possible.

Home Workout

Avoid going to the gym and do not practice any such workout that takes you between people. Instead, exercise at home. You can also practice yoga to calm your body and nerves. The home workout will also help you in strengthening your immunity system.

So, these are some tips and precautions that you should follow when you are home, at work or in surrounding areas. They will aid you in ensuring your safety and of those who are near you.
